Currently, I am investing my daytime hours at Zimperium. Zimperium is protecting you, your app users, and corporate users from cyberattacks via mobile devices and apps they carry. At Zimperium, I am responsible for direct revenue and channels for our application development business. This business includes solutions to help build better apps (zScan), harden binaries (zShield), and embed mobile application security ( zDefend). I also train our global sales team, perform research on mobile app security, and consult customers on how to remediate cyber attacks to the apps they build for customers and employees.
Prior to Zimperium, I worked at CA Technologies enabling application delivery and operations professionals to build better enterprise applications in less time. Many of my projects were devoted to selling pre-production software for application delivery, release management, and DevOps. At CA, I constructed and contributed to an award-winning industry blog servicevirtualization.com to maintain thought leadership and SEO for service virtualization software.
Before moving over to CA, I advised software development organizations while at a Dallas startup, ITKO. ITKO invented the service virtualization concept and a software suite called LISA, which CA acquired in August 2011. Broadcom has since acquired CA Technologies.
Time devoted elsewhere consists of speaking at events, producing and hosting a podcast, researching and being social on technology, riding my bike, barbecuing, and finding innovative marketing techniques and ideas to tell stories. Please check out some of my selected projects below and let me know if I can help. If you have a question or an idea on sales, marketing, the podcast, or want a demo of Zimperium, feel free to email me at scott @ thescottking.com, LinkedIn, or Twitter, and I’ll get back with you as soon as I can.
